All your needs can be taken care of by the G-Suite apps. On top of everything, you also receive 15 GB of free storage (shared across Gmail, Drive, and Google Photos). This makes having a Google account and accessibility to all these magic very difficult to turn down.
Integrating Google Drive and all its offers into your life, whether it be for business or personal use, can come with a few niggles.
Here are a few useful tips to keep your user experience smooth and easy to handle when using Google Drive:
When you are creating a Google Docs file, you can use Google’s in-built speech-to-text system to type using your voice. One of the best things about the speech-to-text system is that it even understands the commands for things that aren’t words. Such as “new line”, or “comma”. The system responds to this instruction and creates exactly what you were asking for.
The only drawback is that this feature doesn’t work on Safari, so Apple users are limited to this feature. Apple users can by-pass this issue by using any of the other major browsers out there, such as: Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.
If you are someone who has to add links to your Google Docs often, then this tip will be useful for you. Instead of doing it the long way by searching on the web, copying the desire link and pasting in the correct document, try this out: select the text you want to create a hyperlink on, and press “Cmd+K” or “Ctrl+K“. This will open up a small dialogue box just below the selected text, where you can search for keywords and choose the appropriate link, which will then automatically get hyperlinked in the document. Easy!
Google Drive also offers a feature to publish Docs files, Sheets, or Slides to the web. This makes life much simpler for those of us who need to share documents with others, leaving you with more time for fun and to play online blackjack real money games. Instead of sharing links to the document with others, documents can be published on the web using Google Drive or even set into a web page.
Now, if you are thinking “do I have to republish every time I make changes to the document?”, the answer is no. the document will automatically update for all when any changes are made to the file. Any published content will stay up to date for all to view, no matter where you are.
