It’s full of lame plot points that don’t work, dull characters who aren’t interesting, and poor CGI animation.
Shrek Forever After (2010)
A sequel to one of the best animated films ever made, you’d think Disney would’ve learned their lesson over how badly they handled the first instalment of this series. Instead, they went all out on making it as bad as possible.
Fantastic Four (2015)
You know what? I’m having a hard time picking my favourite “worst” movie right now because I feel like there are so many incredible examples. But, if I had to choose, it would be this one.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011)

With so many choices, it can be difficult selecting which movie will ultimately top the list. Yet, a couple things always seem to hold true. For example: any number of sequels can be worse than the original, but generally speaking, most instalments of popular franchises tend to be better than those directed by total unknowns. There are also plenty of examples where the original movie was nothing spectacular, while the follow-up is universally praised.
