The World Economic Forum (WEF) on Africa was held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from May 5 – 7. The focus was of this year’s event was ‘rethinking Africa’s growth strategy’, and the result of the week’s meetings was a collective call to end the continent’s marginalization, and work towards changing Africa’s position within the global economy.

Two HeroRAT supporters, Allan and Blessing, have entered a competition titled, "Name our Dream Assignment." Their "dream assignment" is to travel to specific regions of the world and 1) Document the destruction landmines cause. 2) Bring glory to the brave and innovative men and woman trying to free their countries of land mines. 3) Help administer aid to victims. The grand prize in this competition is a $50,000 grant to go shoot this proposal.
